Good morning,

I’m Bryan Fine, MD, MPH, CEO & Founder of Percentric. This e-newsletter – always evolving – focuses on keeping you well by addressing both non-COVID-19 and COVID-19 health concerns. We work hard to keep it real, and real-time.

1. Percentric News

We’re shaking things up again! Starting next week, our newsletter will only be sent out once a week as we start posting more to our blog, “Notes from the Doc” and on our social media accounts. Follow us on LinkedIn, Facebook, and Twitter to see more from us.

2. Covid-19 update

Some good news on this front for a change by way of updated guidelines from the CDC.

3. It’s National “Don’t Fry Day”

Yes, really. Fried chicken might be delicious, but fried people? Not so great.

 4. Are you cooking out?

It’s Memorial Day Weekend, and for many, that means it’s cookout time. With social distancing measures, this year is sure to look a little different, but that doesn’t mean you can’t enjoy the holiday with some delicious, healthy foods.

5. Ask a Percentric Doc

Today’s question: “Do you really think everyone wearing a mask is necessary? Are you wearing a mask when you go out in public?”

Here’s what I think: When CNN and Fox News agree on something, you’ve got to at least take note. Early research points to the majority of people wearing masks when out in public as one of the best ways to combat this thing. So yes, when I’m out in public these days, I’m wearing a mask.

Stay safe, smart, and sane.
