Good morning,
I’m Bryan Fine, MD, MPH, CEO & Founder of Percentric. This e-newsletter – always evolving – focuses on keeping you well by addressing both non-COVID-19 and COVID-19 health concerns. We work hard to keep it real, and real-time.
A widely available anti-parasitic medication may be promising against the novel coronavirus.
Check out this comprehensive “Survival Guide” that details everything from the gear you need to the apps that are free right now, plus so much more.
You may notice a recurring theme here- my job is to help keep you well, physically and mentally. To that end, check out this article on pandemic anxiety and how to tackle the resulting sleeplessness, forgetfulness, and lack of focus it can cause.
Check out what some innovative “makers” are doing in Hampton Roads with their 3D printers to support healthcare and other essential workers.
Today’s question: “I’m the parish secretary at a church that has closed to parishioners and visitors because of the coronavirus. The clergy and staff are all working from home now. When things settle down, do we need to sanitize everything before we reopen the building?”
This is a great question! Based on the current research about how long the virus can live on surfaces, as long as the building hasn’t had anyone in it for 3 days or longer, you probably don’t need to worry about sanitizing when you reopen.
