With all the sensationalized headlines about potential treatments floating around, I found this article from Time to be a great, detailed run down of the treatment options that are being pursued for COVID-19. It’s a little bit of a read, tackle it in chunks if you want, but it’s worth the time to read some news that actually makes you feel better.

Apparently, there have been ever changing phases of which products are flying off the shelves, and we are now in the… hair color phase?
Some Good News with John Krasinski really knocked it out of the park this week. You’ll smile, you’ll laugh, you might even cry, but you’ll definitely be glad you watched it.
Today’s question: “With all the talk and recommendations about washing your hands, isn’t it a good idea to wash your hair every night? I do it anyway, but lately I’ve been using antibacterial hand soap first then my regular hair shampoo with conditioner.”
You’re right, there hasn’t been a lot of guidance on how all this increased hygiene should effect our hair care routine. If you’re going out every day, your safest bet is to wash your hair every day. But, you don’t need to use an antibacterial soap (even for your hands!), any old shampoo will do, since it’s the surfactants in the soap that really get the job done. If you have long hair, you should tie it back and avoid touching it when you’re out and about, because it’s possible- though very unlikely- that you could touch your hair, get viral particles on it, and later unintentionally transfer the viral particles to your hands and face. On days you don’t leave your house, there is no need to wash it if you wouldn’t regularly. For more details, you can check out this article.
