Dr. Denee L. Hollins has worked in the healthcare industry a little over 19 years. Her career began in a privately owned internal medicine practice serving as the office administrative assistant. It is there she developed a love for medicine and went on to pursue a nursing career.
In 2005, she graduated from Sentara College with her diploma in Registered Nursing. Later, in 2010, she obtained a BSN from Virginia Commonwealth University. Interested in leadership, she obtained her MSN in Nursing Administration in 2015 and her Doctorate in Nursing Practice in 2016, both from Old Dominion University.
She has worked in multiple healthcare settings that include internal medicine, obstetrics, gynecology, post anesthesia care, operating room, cardiac care, multidisciplinary clinics, and leadership. Currently, she serves as an educator for a government funded health insurance plan that focuses on eliminating health care disparities for the aged, blind and disabled citizens of Virginia.
Denee understands the intricacies of healthcare costs and the financial burdens it poses on families. She is excited to support Percentric’s mission in helping clients make educated decisions about their health insurance.
